Jeremy Underground hails from Paris but the deep house music that he loves is from right here in the US (New York and New Jersey, specifically). He began his record label My Love Is Underground only 5 years ago, yet his selections have already been labeled a #1 pick by Resident Advisor.

We love bringing artists like Jeremy to the Housepit, allowing our fans to get a glimpse of an artist before they completely blow up, and allowing us to say “you saw it here first.”

Join us as we welcome a house DJ whose love and knowledge of house music are almost unsurpassed.

Opening up the main room with an extended set is our resident producer extraordinaire Bai-ee. You probably know him by now, but he’s a committed house head and producer hailing originally from Chicago, who came over to the bay with his house brother from another mother Tyrel Williams, both of whom now release music under the name Secret Studio (through SS Records).

Long story short? Bai-ee brings the jack. Arrive early.

Finally, in the back room, we have our CHUG music specialists, our residents Mike Bee and Joel Conway. If you haven’t seen them play, you’ve missed out on one of SF’s best experiences. Funk will be brought. Chugging will happen. You will dance… just… a bit slower than usual.

The details:

$5 early-bird tickets available on RA: Bottomless champagne 9-10pm
Free b4 10pm with RSVP – $10 after”

Jeremy Underground

Born in 1986 in a parisian suburb, Jeremy is a passionate record collector and music lover who’s collection and knowledge of deep house surpasses his years of collecting it.

Falling madly in love with Deep House in 1997 thanks to Radio Nova in Paris, he spent his formative teenage years in record shops with a sole idea in mind: unearthing all the hidden treasures of House music, leaving no stone unturned. Then, later on getting into the same process with other musical styles such as Jazz, Soul, Funk…

Jeremy started “My Love Is Underground” in 2010, a vinyl-only label dedicated to his first love: the authentic New York/New Jersey house sound. His mission was to bring these warm vibes back and showcase the spirit of this golden era in house. Bringing up 5 years in the game in 2015, the label will celebrate with a run of special parties that will bring in the next stage in MLIU’s evolution.

Regarded as a fine selector with a strong musical identity, Jeremy now carries his heavy bag of records across the globe, spreading his love for underground music. The MLIU label parties are fast becoming the talk of any city that hosts them, with music lovers traveling from country to country to experience the MLIU vibe.

His honesty and dedication towards music has rocket launched him to the world of international DJing, with the now extremely rare feature of being a DJ only and not a Producer/DJ. The label has gone from strength to strength, including a landmark debut compilation in 2014, the stunning “My Love Is Underground” 3xLP featuring Jeremy’s hand picked selection of rare & out of press House jams from years gone by. A real defining moment in his burgeoning career, it was ranked by Resident Advisor #1 best compilation of the year, winning praise from DJ’s and collectors alike for the depth and raw quality of the selection. His sets share similar class, burning up dance floors wherever he goes & you can be sure that the flag for ‘hard core deep house’ will be flying high for years to come.

Transplanted in Oakland CA by way of Chicago, current resident at SF’s House Music weekly Housepitality, and SS Records / audioJazz Music label owner. Upcoming projects place him alongside Jason Kendig, Ed Nine, D’marc Cantu and D-Wynn/R-Tyme. With past releases on Farris Wheel, Smooth Agent Records and Poontin. Remixing Tyree Cooper, Bernard Badie, Dajae & Ken ECB alongside 95 North. He’s experienced a modest background working with and around nightlife’s elite, made possible by his impact as a DJ for nearly 20 years.

Mike has been a pro DJ for going on 20 years. Former music journalist (XLR8R, Urb, SF Bay Guardian), club promoter (La Belle Epoque, Bottom Heavy, Safe, Future Shock – all SF), label owner (True Intent) and buyer for Amoeba SF’s electronic music section for 6 years (13 at Amoeba total). Mike now operates a record store called Vinyl Dreams (in the Lower Haight district of SF), (, and is a resident of Housepitality.
