Dear Friends & Family,
The Housepitality Family along with Dirtybird and Liaison join forces with our friend Kim Kong in her most important battle yet, Kicking Cancer’s ass! She is currently undergoing treatment and needs help covering the heavy medical costs.
Kim is characterized as a loving person who is caring to everyone. Whether it has been through her music, her friendship or her love, Kim has helped so many people in the dance community. Here is our chance to return the favor with our support.
Please pull out your wig this Wednesday to help raise money and hope for the one and only Kim Young a.k.a. DJ Kim Kong! A dream team of artists, DJ’s, promoters, agencies, businesses, record labels and individuals have come together to contribute to this amazing benefit event, thank you!
In-order to raise more money we are also holding a tremendous raffle with multiple tiers of prizes all donated by local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available at $10 for one ticket or 2 for $15. The Grand Prize is a Private Group Antigravity yoga class for you and 5 of your friends with Crunch TV Star Michelle Opperman ($400 value).

Claude VonStroke

VonStroke created dirtybird records in 2005 and has been running everything from A&R to daily operations ever since. The name “Claude VonStroke” was a joke that caught on after he released a series of quirky tracks under the moniker in order to help kick start the dirtybird label. His very first record, “Deep Throat,” used a strange vocal sound effect as percussion to make a sleeper hit selling tens of thousands of copies. The follow-up track, “Who’s Afraid of Detroit?” was the catalyst that changed his career from bedroom producer to touring DJ. He has been blessed with similar success stories ever since.

Nikita has tagged with likes of Cassy, Lee Burridge, Derek Plaslaiko and has played along side Steve Lawler, Steve Bug, Damien Lazurus, M.A.N.D.Y., Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), Craig Richards and many more… With inspirations coming from friends like Ms. Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson and Danny Tenaglia… it’s no wonder Nikita is one of Dance Music’s upcoming success stories.
