This party is more than just a benefit: we will also be celebrating the Joy Road remix album release–and birthday!–of talented musician/producer MARISSA GUZMAN, who has long been a close friend and Housepitality family member.
With special extended hours, (7pm-2am), this event is not only dedicated to the good of music and celebratory cheer, it is also a night about channeling positive energy from the dance floor to NextAid’s sustainable development projects in Africa.
The evening will begin with a professional industry mixer and silent auction fundraiser, featuring complimentary cocktail and world rhythms selected by veteran music writer DJ Tomas (Umojoa Hi-Fi, Voltage Music), followed by FIl Latorre then Marissa Guzman (Juicy Lucy Records), and Mr. V (Sole Channel Music).
In the Groove Lounge, we’re presenting an Afro-Rhythm Lounge with Señor Oz of Afrolicious,, DJ Said (Fatsouls Records- SF), and DJ Tomas continuing his rhythm from the main room.
